Timeframe: 2007- present

In 2007 SSDM was brought in to review agronomic and drainage issues on newly constructed greens and fairways.

In 2010, SSDM was asked to lead a fairways development programme that involved designing a fairways condition assessment system capable of identifying existing fairway assets (drainage, irrigation, etc.), setting future goals for development and monitoring progress. The whole system was designed to be client driven and managed.

The system can be used as a practical tool for superintendents to manage a whole-of-course approach to improving the playability of their golf course.
